All your assistance - from getting us signed up for our lesson, the lesson itself, and the follow up for our next rental day was great. Thank you! And we need to send special applause to Jeff Brown who was our extraordinary instructor: his style of educating us on so many boat skills as well as explaining the reasons why various things were important to know was SO invaluable. His calm demeanor, safety consciousness, and emphasis on boating etiquette were all SO appreciated. We're thrilled that he can join us for a couple hours on our upcoming date with Hydra Sport. Had a wonderful 4 hours (half day) on a boat from Gloucester Boat Rental. The area is perfect for both boating beginners and the more advanced. Check-in was easy and quick. Instructions before and on boat very clear. Love to come back next year! -Felix A.

We rented a boat for a half day at the end of the season. It turned out to be a beautiful day - we cruised up the Annisquam, through a couple of drawbridges, and out towards Crane Beach and Halibut Point. It was a good mix of relaxing, calm water and open wake zone.
I don't have a lot of boating experience, but felt pretty comfortable the whole time. The guy (and his son) from the rental office were very nice and got everything set up for us including a GPS, depth finder, and radio to call the draw bridge. They also dealt with docking and undocking the boat and pointing it in the right direction on our way out.
Will definitely check them out again in the future! -Kevin K.

I want to Thank Mike and Gloucester boat rental for one of the best experiences on 8/5/2018. We rented the 17’. It was so easy and we didn’t need a lot of experience. Anchored at Cranes and drive out to Salvages and saw a seal. Rental was affordable. Can’t say enough great things! Can’t wait to do it again!!!!! - Marisa N.

We rented one of Mike's boats for four hours and toured Gloucester with our family visiting from Brazil. Everyone loved it and Mike was very helpful and nice. We will definitely be coming back with more friends to use these boats! -Erin L.

Mike took myself, my sis, brother in law and neice all around cape ann himself. We all had such a relaxing time and the sunset was so good. A gift certificate for Gloucester boat rental is a great gift for graduates, new neighbors, visitors...the best way to enjoy summer in Cape Ann. -Jennifer N.
